5.1.4.7 Terneplate. Surfaces of terneplate shall be cleaned by vapor degreasing (finish

4.10), or as otherwise specified. Surfaces that are to be painted shall then be given ------- the treatment- described in table X. The design/procuring activity shall select the method of cleaning (unless cleaning is covered in the pretreatment specification of table X) and the treatment, and shall reference them on drawings, in contracts, or in specifications by the numbers shown in the tables.
